Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the receiver connector and route the wire harness through the I/P carrier.
  2. Line up the receiver with the hole on the retainer.
    3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the retaining screws to the remote control door lock receiver and tighten to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
  4. Install the I/P trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement .
  5. Perform the RCDLR programming and setup procedure. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
