Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the knee bolster bracket. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Replacement .
  2. Remove the steering column trim covers.

  3. Disconnect the automatic transmission shift lock control connector.

  4. Use a screwdriver to pry the automatic transmission shift lock control from the steering column support assembly.
  5. Remove the automatic transmission shift lock control from the steering column.
