The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
CONDITION/CONCERN
Starting with the 2009 model year, Full Size Trucks were shipped with a removable / re-attachable adhesive backed window labels. Some dealers may notice that they are unable to remove the glue from the window after removing the window labels during pre-delivery. This concern is seen more often in states that experience high temperatures and high humidity for a long period of time.
RECOMMENDATION/INSTRUCTIONS
The glue can be removed by using Dupont 3812 Enamel Reducer or Equivalent that can be found in most body shops. Care should be taken not to get the enamel reducer on any painted surfaces on the vehicle including the vehicles door panels
