Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor

  1. Install the crankshaft position sensor.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the crankshaft position sensor bolt and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the CKP electrical connector (3).

  4. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  5. Lower the vehicle.
