Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the cross vehicle brace. Refer to Cross Vehicle Brace Replacement .
  2. Remove the fuel injection sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (LLT) .
  3. Remove the intake manifold insulator.
  4. Remove the wiper transmission. Refer to Windshield Wiper Transmission Replacement .

  5. Remove the fuel pipe shield to intake manifold bolts (1).
  6. Remove the fuel pipe shield to cylinder bolt (1).
  7. Carefully remove the fuel pipe shield from the vehicle. Take care not to damage the insulation behind the shield.
