HVAC Control Module Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Remove the instrument panel accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement (Cadillac) or Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement (Except Cadillac) . Remove the accessory switch assembly. Refer to Accessory Switch Replacement (Cadillac) or Accessory Switch Replacement (Except Cadillac) . Disconnect the electrical connectors.
1	Screw, Control Assembly - Heater and Air Conditioning (Qty: 4) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 1.5 N.m (13 lb in)
2	Control Assembly, Heater and Air Conditioning Tip: The HVAC control module must be reprogrammed. Refer to Control Module References .

Remove the instrument panel accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement (Cadillac) or Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement (Except Cadillac) .
Remove the accessory switch assembly. Refer to Accessory Switch Replacement (Cadillac) or Accessory Switch Replacement (Except Cadillac) .
Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Screw, Control Assembly - Heater and Air Conditioning (Qty: 4)

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten: 1.5 N.m (13 lb in)
