Circuit/System Testing

- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the I/P multifunction assembly switch.
- Ignition ON, verify the scan tool Park Assist Switch parameter is Inactive.
- If not Inactive, test the rear park disable signal circuit for a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, replace the object alarm module
- Ignition OFF, test for greater than 1.0 ohm of resistance between the rear park assist disable signal of the I/P multifunction assembly switch and ground.
- If less than 1.0 ohm, test the rear park assist disable signal circuit at the I/P multifunction assembly switch for a short to ground.
- If all circuits test normal, replace the I/P multifunction assembly switch.
