Removal Procedure

Fig 1: Identifying Fuel Tank Filler Pipe, Housing & Bolts

Drain the fuel tank if necessary. Refer to Fuel Tank Draining
Remove the housing fasteners (1).
Remove the right rear wheelhouse panel liner. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement .

Disconnect the evaporative emission line (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
Remove the lower filler tube fastener (3).
Loosen the filler pipe hose clamp (2) and disconnect the hose.
Remove the upper filler tube fastener (3).
Remove the filler pipe (4).
