Remove the steering gear. Refer to Electric Dual Pinion Rack and Pinion Steering Gear Replacement . |

Steering Gear Bushing - Lower Procedure
- Remove and DISCARD the lower steering gear bushing using suitable pliers.
- Lubricate the NEW lower steering gear bushing with a mild soap to aid in installation.

Steering Gear Bushing - Upper Procedure
- Remove and DISCARD the upper steering gear bushing using a suitable punch and soft rubber mallet.
- Lubricate the NEW upper steering gear bushing with a mild soap to aid in installation.
