Diagnostic Aids
- Do not use the display to aim the target , when calibration is required, the display will not be centered correctly.
- The camera has a fixed mounting position, it does not require adjustment. The camera calibration adjusts the aim of the camera electronically.
- Incorrect or inaccurate alignment will cause distorted, skewed or poorly aimed images.
- The target fixture is difficult to fine tune, adjusting the feet of the tripod to the bubble levels on the target is best.
- The laser included with the tool is used only to help aim the target, it must be removed from the target prior to calibration.
- Masking tape and a tape measure may be used during alignment.
- Be sure to make as square as possible measurements.
- Having the vehicle and the target level are very important for this calibration.
