Target Details
- A target with a heating element is required at the dealership to insure the technician can properly align the grill mounted infra-red camera after service has been performed.
- The target consists of a heating element with a ceramic housing mounted on a height adjustable tripod.
- A laser pointer is temporarily placed on the center of the target face which guides the technician to move the tripod and target assembly laterally and vertically to accurately align the center of the target with the camera lens in the vehicle grill. It is the reference point for the position of the camera, which will then be adjusted to the service information specification using on-board vehicle software.
