Installation Procedure

  1. Battery Distribution Fuse Block Retaining Tab (1)» Engage

  2. Battery Distribution Fuse Block (2)» Install
  3. Battery Positive Cable (2)» Install

  4. Battery Positive Cable Nut (1)» Install and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution
  5. Retainer (3)» Engage
  6. Electrical Connector (1)» Connect [3x]

  7. Retainer (2)» Engage
  8. Battery Positive Cable (3)» Install

  9. Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1)» Tighten 4.5 N.m (40 lb in)
  10. Battery Positive Post Cover (2)» Install
  11. Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover (3)» Install

  12. Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover Retainer (1)» Engage [2x]
  13. Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover Fastener (2)» Install and tighten
  14. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  15. Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim» Install - Rear Compartment Front Trim Replacement (Without HP9)
