Installation Procedure

  1. Drive Motor Power Inverter Module 3-Phase Cable (1)» Install

  2. Front Wheelhouse Panel Brace (2)» Install

  3. Front Wheelhouse Panel Brace Nut (1)» Install and tighten [4x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution
  4. Drive Motor Power Inverter Module 3-Phase Cable (3)» Install

  5. Cable Retainer Nut (1)» Install and tighten
    NOTE: Critical high voltage fastener. Perform second torque verification check following re-assembly.
    • First Pass: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
    • Final Pass: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  6. Protective Terminal Cover (2)» Install
  7. Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Connector (4)» Connect
  8. High Voltage Terminal Bolt (1)» Hand tighten [6x]

    NOTE: Critical high voltage fastener. Perform second torque verification check following re-assembly.
  9. High Voltage Terminal Bolt (1)» Tighten [6x]
    • First Pass: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
    • Final Pass: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  10. High Voltage Cable Connector Cover Seal (3)» Install NEW Seal [2x]

    NOTE: Make sure the seal does not roll out of channel when installing NEW seal.
  11. High Voltage Cable Connector Cover (2)» Install [2x]
  12. High Voltage Cable Connector Cover Bolt (1)» Install and tighten [4x]
    NOTE: Critical high voltage fastener. Perform second torque verification check following re-assembly.
    • First Pass: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
    • Final Pass: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  13. Air Inlet Grille Panel (2)» Install - Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement

  14. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  15. Drive Motor Power Inverter Module 3-Phase Cable (4, 5)» Install - Transmission Replacement

  16. Transmission Support Crossmember» Install - Transmission Support Crossmember Replacement (LTG)
  17. Electrical Connector (1)» Connect

  18. Retainer (2)» Engage [2x]
  19. Cable Retainer Fastener (1)» Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  20. Retainer (2)» Engage
  21. Lower the vehicle.
  22. Enable the high voltage system. Refer to High Voltage Enabling
