Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection 
  2. Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover Fastener (2)» Remove

  3. Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover Retainer (1)» Disengage [2x]
  4. Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover (3)» Remove
  5. Battery Positive Post Cover (2)» Remove

  6. Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1)» Loosen
  7. Battery Positive Cable (3)» Reposition away
  8. Battery Hold Down Strap Fastener (1)» Remove

  10. Battery Vent Tube (2)» Disengage
