Installation Procedure

Lubricate the threads and sealing surface of the NEW fuel injection fuel rail fuel pressure sensor with one drop of clean engine oil.

NOTE: Applying force to the plastic housing of the sensor may damage the sensor. To tighten or loosen, apply force only to the attached hexagon.

NOTE: Ensure the fuel rail threads are clean and free of any excess fuel or the fuel injection fuel rail fuel pressure sensor will NOT seal properly.
Install the NEW fuel injection fuel rail fuel pressure sensor (2) and hand tighten.
NOTE: Install a NEW fuel injection fuel rail fuel pressure sensor.
Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fuel Pressure Sensor (2) @ Fuel Injection Fuel Rail (3)» Remove and re-lubricate with one drop of clean engine oil.
Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fuel Pressure Sensor (2) @ Fuel Injection Fuel Rail (3)» Install and tighten 33 N.m (24 lb ft)
CAUTION: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .
Electrical Connector (1) @ Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fuel Pressure Sensor (2)» Connect
Pressurize the fuel system and inspect for leaks.
NOTE: If a fuel leak occurs at the fuel rail, the fuel rail will need to be replaced.
