Preliminary Procedures Extend the steering column to the fully telescoped position. With the vehicle off, place the ignition system in the ACC/ACCESSORY mode. Disengage the steering column upper trim cover from the steering column lower trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Upper Trim Cover Replacement
1	Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Bolt [3x] CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Rotate the steering wheel left and right to access the fasteners securing the steering column lower trim cover to the turn signal switch bracket. Tighten 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
2	Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Transfer components as necessary.

Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Bolt [3x]

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure
Rotate the steering wheel left and right to access the fasteners securing the steering column lower trim cover to the turn signal switch bracket.
Tighten
2.5 N.m (22 lb in)

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Transfer components as necessary.
