Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2016 Cadillac CTS. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

NOTE: Use masking tape to tape off the sunroof opening. Do Not scratch the roof with the sunroof window brackets on the bottom side of the sunroof window.

Position the rear sunroof window into the roof opening.

Install the left side of the sunroof window (1) under flange until the right side clears the sunroof module opening.
Position the sunroof window brackets into the module.
Install the screws (2) to the left and right sides of the rear sunroof window (3) that attach the window to the sides of the module and tighten to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution
Remove masking tape from the sunroof window opening.
Install the front sunroof window. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement (Front)
Adjust the sunroof windows as needed. Refer to Sunroof Window Height and Opening Fit Adjustment
Inspect the sunroof windows for proper operation.
