Adjustment Procedure
- Before performing any adjustment affecting the wheel alignment, refer to Wheel Alignment Measurement .
- Determine the actual camber, Positive (1) or Negative (2).
- Raise the front of vehicle.
- Remove the wheel.
- Loosen the front suspension strut nuts (1) enough to allow the splines of the bolts (2) to disengage from the knuckle. Strut Assembly Removal and Installation (FE2 Without F55)Strut Assembly Removal and Installation (FE2 or FE3 With F55)Strut Assembly Removal and Installation (FE4 With F55)
- Reinstall the wheel.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Adjust the front camber to specifications. Wheel Alignment Measurement
- Hold the camber adjustment and tighten the bottom front suspension strut nut (1) while holding the bolt (2) to secure the adjustment. Do not fully torque at this time. Also make sure that the spline of the bolt is fully seated within the knuckle and strut.
- Reinspect the camber settings.
- Tighten the front suspension strut nuts. Strut Assembly Removal and Installation (FE2 Without F55)Strut Assembly Removal and Installation (FE2 or FE3 With F55)Strut Assembly Removal and Installation (FE4 With F55)
- Adjust the front toe. Wheel Alignment - Steering Wheel Angle and/or Front Toe Adjustment

Refer to Fastener Caution .
NOTE:
For accurate readings, do not push or pull on the tire and wheel assembly during the alignment.

The next step may require assistance.
NOTE:
After adjusting the front camber, it is necessary to adjust the front toe.
