Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON/Vehicle in Service Mode.
  2. Verify that DTC P174D or P17AB is not set.
    • If DTC P174D is set 

      Perform the programming and learn  procedure for the K173 Transmission Range Control Module.

    1. Verify DTC P174D is not set.
      • If DTC P174D is set

        Replace the K173 Transmission Range Control Module.

      • If DTC P174D is not set

        All OK.

    • If DTC P17AB is set 

      Perform the programming  procedure for the K173 Transmission Range Control Module.

    1. Verify DTC P17AB is not set.
      • If DTC P17AB is set

        Replace the K173 Transmission Range Control Module.

      • If DTC P17AB is not set

        All OK.

    • If none of the DTCs are set 
  3. All OK
