Front Camber Adjustment (GNB)

Preliminary Procedure 
Position the vehicle on a suitable alignment rack.
1 Steering Knuckle Camber Adjust Nut (2x)
CAUTION:

This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

  1. Remove the upper steering knuckle nut and bolt. DISCARD the bolt.
  2. Install the NEW upper steering knuckle bolt and nut but do not fully tighten at this time.
  3. Loosen the lower steering knuckle nut.
  4. Rotate the upper steering knuckle camber adjust bolt inward or outward to adjust the front camber. Wheel Alignment Specifications 
  5. Do NOT remove any material from the holes for the adjustment bolts as an alignment aide. If there is difficulty adjusting the camber, check for any excessively worn or damaged suspension components.
  6. Once the camber adjustment is complete, tighten the camber adjust nuts to specification.
  7. Tighten the lower camber adjust nut. Steering Knuckle Upper Ball Stud Replacement (GNB)
  8. Tighten the upper camber adjust nut. Steering Knuckle Upper Ball Stud Replacement (GNB)
  9. With the camber within the specifications, adjust the toe. Wheel Alignment - Steering Wheel Angle and/or Front Toe Adjustment
