Accelerator Pedal with Position Sensor Assembly Replacement

2	Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor Fastener CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
3	CAUTION: When installing the Accelerator Pedal do NOT use a mallet or excessive force on the pedal assembly or damage to the pedal assembly could occur, requiring replacement of the pedal assembly. Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor Procedure Disconnect the connector from the accelerator pedal position sensor. Tilt the top of the accelerator pedal position sensor rearward. Slide the accelerator pedal position sensor back to disengage its lower retaining tabs.

Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor

Procedure

Disconnect the connector from the accelerator pedal position sensor.
Tilt the top of the accelerator pedal position sensor rearward.
Slide the accelerator pedal position sensor back to disengage its lower retaining tabs.
