Installation Procedure

    Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Connector (4) - Connect

  2. Drive Motor Power Inverter Module (5) - Install
  3. Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Bracket (3) - Install
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  4. Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Bracket Nut (2) - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  5. Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Bracket Bolt - Install and tighten [2x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

    Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Connector (1) - Connect

  7. Ground terminal (3) - Install [2x]
  8. Ground Terminal Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)

    Drive Motor Power Inverter Module 3-Phase Cable (3) - Install

    10. NOTE:

    Critical high voltage fastener. Perform second torque verification check following re-assembly.

  10. Cable Retainer Nut (1) - Install and tighten
    • First Pass: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
    • Final Pass: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  11. Protective Terminal Cover (2) - Install
  12. Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Connector (4) - Connect

    Air Inlet Deflector Water Deflector (1) - Install - Air Inlet Deflector Water Deflector Replacement

    NOTE:

    Critical high voltage fastener. Perform second torque verification check following re-assembly.

    High Voltage Terminal Bolt (1) - Hand tighten [6x]

  15. High Voltage Terminal Bolt (1) - Tighten [6x]
    • First Pass: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
    • Final Pass: 9 N.m (80 lb in)

    High Voltage Cable Connector Cover Seal (3) - Install [2x]

  17. High Voltage Cable Connector Cover (2) - Install [2x]
    18. NOTE:

    Critical high voltage fastener. Perform second torque verification check following re-assembly.

  18. High Voltage Cable Connector Cover Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x]
    • First Pass: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
    • Final Pass: 9 N.m (80 lb in)

    Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Cooling Inlet Hose (3) - Install - Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Cooling Inlet Hose Replacement (Drive Motor Power Inverter Module to Heater Inlet Pipe Connector)Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Cooling Inlet Hose Replacement (Heater Inlet Pipe Connector Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Intermediate Tube to Heater Inlet Pipe Connector)

    Drive Motor Generator Control Module Cooling Outlet Hose (3) - Install - Drive Motor Generator Control Module Cooling Outlet Hose Replacement

    Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace (1) - Install - Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace Replacement

  22. Enable the high voltage system. High Voltage Enabling
  23. Reprogram the drive motor power inverter module, refer to Control Module References
