Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
Pull rearward to clear the tab and remove the instrument panel outer trim cover (1).

Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

{If equipped} Instrument Panel Insulator Nut (1) - Remove
Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Bolt (2) - Remove
Disconnect the instrument panel wiring harness (3) from the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator.

Using a suitable pry tool, disengage the retaining clip (1).

Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Release Handle (1) - Remove

NOTE:

Starting at the rear of the garnish molding (1), pull upward at the B-Pillar joint to release the up/down clips first.
Rotate the sill garnish molding (1) inboard after releasing up/down clips and pull rearward to disengage the clip on the forward vertical wall.
{If equipped} Disconnect the electrical connector.
Front Side Door Sill Garnish Molding - Right Side (1) - Remove

Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Release the retaining tabs.
Off-Board Charger Control Module (1) - Remove
