Computer Command Control (C-3) System

The C-3 system does not require use of special diagnostic equipment for testing. A digital voltmeter with 10 megohm impedance, an ohmmeter capable of low level readings, a dwell meter, tachometer, test lamp, vacuum gauge and pump, and jumper leads equipped with ``Weather Pack'' type terminals are needed.
Although most test equipment should be compatible with the C-3 system, any item which causes a change in engine operation should not be used. Dwell meters with 3 leads, 2 of which are for battery connection, are best suited. However, some dwell meters with only 2 leads can also be used. Do not use an ordinary voltmeter in place of digital voltmeter, as the input impedance is not high enough to obtain accurate readings.
