Fuel System Bleeding
- When changing fuel filter, injection pump, or when vehicle has run out of fuel, it may be necessary to purge air from injection pump. Air may be purged and cranking time reduced by activating the HCPA system.
- Unplug electrical connector from the engine temperature sensor/switch on engine block. Connect jumper wire across terminals. After engine is running, remove jumper wire and connect temperature switch to harness.
