Wheel Alignment Specifications & Procedures: Adjustment: Toe-In
- Loosen right and left tie rod end lock nuts. Turn right and left tie rods by the same amount to align toe-in to specifications. Right and left tie rods should become equal in length.
- Tighten lock nuts and make certain rack boots are not twisted. Check toe-in.
NOTE:
When a tie rod or tie rod end is replaced, check toe and steering angle with turning radius gauges. If steering angle is not correct, check the right and left tie rods for equal length.
