Coolant Thermal Switch

  1. Drain cooling system. Remove thermal switch from intake manifold. Cool switch to below 86°F (30°C). Using ohmmeter, check that there is continuity between terminals.
  2. Heat switch to above 115°F (46°C). Check that there is NO continuity between terminals.
  3. Wrap Teflon tape around switch threads and install switch in manifold. Refill cooling system.
