EGR Valve

Check vacuum diaphragm function by applying an external vacuum source to vacuum supply tube at top of vacuum diaphragm. Diaphragm should not leak down and should move to fully up position at about 7 in. Hg. vacuum. Check for cracks in EGR valve diaphragm. Check for deformation and carbon deposits around valve or seat.
