Mixture Control Solenoid Valve
- Remove duty check connector cap and short the terminals with a lead wire. See Fig 1 . Turn ignition on and off repeatedly without starting engine.
- Using finger, touch carburetor body near Mixture Control Solenoid (MCS) valve and make sure carburetor makes small vibrations according to ignition switch operation.
- Vibrations from MCS indicate proper operation. If there are no vibrations, replace MCS in carburetor.
