Fuel Evaporation System: Description

Fuel evaporation system is designed to prevent fuel vapor emitted from fuel tank from entering the atmosphere. System consists of fuel tank pressure control valve, charcoal canister, vent switching valve in carburetor (non-turbo models), thermal vacuum valve, and connecting hoses. The Sprint fuel evaporation system includes fuel tank, pressure/vacuum relief fuel filler cap, Bi-metallic Vacuum Switching Valve (BVSV), switch vent solenoid, 2-way check valve, purge control valve, charcoal canister, and connecting lines and hoses.
