Coolant Temperature Sensor (CTS)
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Drain cooling system. Disconnect CTS coupler. Remove sensor from intake manifold. Connect ohmmeter to sensor. Immerse sensor tip into water.
- Gradually raise water temperature and read resistance on ohmmeter. See AIR & COOLANT TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE table. If resistance at each temperature is not equal to table reading, replace CTS.
