Code A053, Right Front Channel In Release Too Long: Notes

This code is designed to detect a motor that is energized too long. This could occur if wheel speed sensor is defective, motor does not turn, right front solenoid is open or motor wires are crossed.

1. Determines if a problem exists in wheel speed sensor that may cause system to be in release too long.
2. Identifies a motor fault failure or wired incorrectly.
3. Checks for a solenoid that may have mechanically failed open.
4. If step 3) failed, this identifies cause of hydraulic problem to either solenoid or ABS hydraulic modulator.
5. Releases motor pack tension prior to removal.
