Code A076, Left Front Solenoid Circuit Open Or Shorted To: Notes

This code identifies a solenoid that cannot be energized due to an open circuit, or a solenoid that is always energized due to a short to battery voltage in circuit between driver and solenoid. An open will not allow proper ABS operation, but short to battery voltage simply turns on solenoid.

1. Checks for short to battery voltage in solenoid circuit.
2. Checks for open in solenoid circuit.
3. Isolates open to either solenoid or ground circuit.
4. Tests for intermittent problem in solenoid circuit due to poor connector terminal contact.
