Code A093 & Code A091 Or A092 Set In Last Or Current Ignition: Notes
CYCLE
Code A093 is the second part of Codes A091 and A092. When Code A091 or A092 is set, Code A093 becomes a current failure during next ignition cycle, keeping ABS disabled until a brake switch "on" signal is sensed by EBCM. When a change is seen during an ignition cycle in which Code A093 is a current failure, EBCM will clear Code A091 or A092 at end of current ignition cycle and ABS will enable itself at start of next ignition cycle. Code A093 alone indicates Codes A091 or A092 failed previously, but is intermittent or has been corrected.
NOTE:
Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.
- Determines which code (A091 or A092) caused Code A093 to set.
- Perform necessary repairs so that Code A093 can be cleared.
