Left Front Window Does Not Operate
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using DVOM connected to ground, measure voltage at master window switch connector (C1 on 4 door models) Brown wire terminal. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Press left front window switch to DOWN position. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, go to step 4).
- Using DVOM connected to ground, measure voltage at master window switch connector Dark Blue wire terminal. Press left front window switch to UP position. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, go to step 4).
- Disconnect left front window motor harness connector. Using DVOM connected to ground, measure voltage at right window motor harness connector Brown wire terminal. Press left front window switch to DOWN position. If battery voltage is present, go to step 5). If battery voltage is not present, go to step 6).
- Replace master window switch. Recheck system operation.
- Using DVOM connected to ground, measure voltage at left front window motor connector Dark Blue wire terminal. Press left front window switch in UP position. If battery voltage is present, go to step 7). If battery voltage is not present, go to step 8).
- Repair open in Brown wire between master window switch and left front window motor. Recheck system operation.
- Replace left front window motor. Recheck system operation.
- Repair open in Dark Blue wire between master window switch and left front window motor. Recheck system operation.
