BCM Diagnostic System Check: Notes

NOTE: Use this check as the starting point for any BCM complaint. BCM is a very reliable component, and is not likely the cause of malfunction. Most malfunctions are caused by faulty wiring, connectors or components.

NOTE: When ignition switch is turned to RUN position with BCM disconnected, PCM-related DTC P1626 will be set. After BCM repair is completed, see TESTS W/CODES article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE section.
