Installation Procedure

  1. Install the new O-ring on the ESO solenoid.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the ESO solenoid in the injection pump.

    Tighten:  Tighten the solenoid (external hex or internal hex) to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the ESO electrical connector.
  4. Start the engine and check for leaks.
