DTC B1013: Calibration ROM Checksum Error: Description
Internal fault detection is handled inside control module. No external circuits are involved. Control module runs an internal fault detection program when power up is commanded. Only requirements are voltage and ground. DTC B1013 will set if control module detects an internal memory (checksum error) malfunction. All additional inputs will then be refused.
Current DTC B1013 will clear when control module makes a successful write to EEPROM and checksum maneuver. A history DTC B1013 will clear after 100 consecutive ignition cycles if condition for malfunction no longer exists. Scan tool can be used to clear DTC.
