Alarm Button Inoperative

  1. If diagnostic system check was performed, go to next step. If diagnostic system check was not performed, see DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS.
  2. If any of the instant alarm functions operate, go to next step. If none of the functions operate, see KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM INOPERATIVE  .
  3. If horn sounds, go to next step. If horn does not sound, see appropriate STEERING COLUMN SWITCHES article.
  4. Check exterior lighting. See EXTERIOR LIGHTS article.
