Body Rear End Diagnostic System Check

  1. If Body Control Module (BCM) system check has been performed, go to next step. If BCM system check has not been performed, perform BODY CONTROL MODULE SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK .
  2. If any DTCs other than 12, 25/35 and 55 are retrieved, perform appropriate test in accordance with DTC retrieved. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS . If no DTCs are retrieved, repair rear compartment lid release system by symptom. See POWER DOOR LOCKS & REAR COMPARTMENT RELEASE - CAMARO & FIREBIRD article.
