Retrieving Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) are retrieved using a Tech 2® scan tool, or other OBD-II compatible scan tool connected to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located below left side of instrument panel. To retrieve DTCs, powertrain diagnostic system check must be performed. See DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK - ENGINE CONTROLS .
