Lock Function

When LOCK button on Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter is pressed, Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) receives a signal with a valid Vehicle Access Code (VAC). RCDLR locks all doors, headlight switch receives a lock signal through terminal "C" (Dark Blue wire) and headlight switch illuminates courtesy lights for 2 seconds. This indicates door has locked. RCDLR supplies voltage to coil of door lock relay, and door lock relay is energized and voltage is supplied to door lock actuators. RCDLR terminal "A" (Tan wire) provides ground for driver's door lock actuator through internal contacts. Ground for other door lock actuators is provided through contacts of unlock relay of door lock relay. All door lock actuators activate to lock all doors.
