Transmitter RESYNCHRONIZATION

NOTE: Perform this procedure when Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter is malfunctioning, before programming a RKE transmitter or after replacing batteries on RKE transmitter.
  1. Ensure battery is in good condition by pressing panic button of RKE transmitter. If battery is okay, horn will beep and lights will flash. If horn does not beep and lights do not flash, battery is faulty or RKE transmitter is malfunctioning.
  2. To resynchronize RKE transmitter with remote control door lock receiver, press and hold RKE transmitter LOCK and UNLOCK buttons for 7 seconds, or until door locks cycle. Repeat steps for each RKE transmitter to be resynchronized. If RKE transmitter is resynchronized while in range of vehicle (next to vehicle), door locks will lock and unlock to provide feedback of successful resynchronization.
