Test C: Driver Door Lock/Unlock Inoperative

  1. If power door lock system check has been performed, go to next step. If power door lock system check has not been performed, perform power door lock system check. See appropriate POWER DOOR LOCKS article.
  2. Program known-good transmitter. See TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING  under PROGRAMMING. Test Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system LOCK, UNLOCK and TRUNK RELEASE functions using RKE transmitter. If all RKE system functions operate properly, go to next step. If all RKE systems do not operate properly, go to step  4 .
  3. Replace inoperative RKE transmitter. Verify system operation.
  4. Replace Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR). See REMOTE CONTROL DOOR LOCK RECEIVER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Verify system operation.
  5. Replace RKE transmitter. Ensure to program all of customer's RKE transmitters. See TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING  under PROGRAMMING.
