Test D: Power Window Lock-Out Function Inoperative

  1. Disconnect power window master switch 8-pin harness connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using test light connected to ground, probe power window master switch harness connector C1 terminal "D" (Dark Blue wire). See Figure . If test light does not illuminate, go to next step. If test light illuminates, go to step  3 .
  2. Replace power window master switch. After repair, perform power window system check. See POWER WINDOW SYSTEM CHECK  under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
  3. Repair open or short to voltage in Dark Blue wire between power window master switch and individual power window switches. After repair, perform power window system check. See POWER WINDOW SYSTEM CHECK  under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
