Test E: Rear Power Windows Inoperative

  1. If power window system check has been performed, go to next step. If power window system check has not been performed, see POWER WINDOW SYSTEM CHECK  under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
  2. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Ensure lock-out switch on power window master switch is in OFF position. Using test light connected to ground, backprobe master switch assembly connector C1 terminal "D" (Dark Blue wire). See Figure . If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step  4 .
  3. Repair poor connection or open in Dark Blue wire between power window master switch and splice S307. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . After repair, perform POWER WINDOW SYSTEM CHECK  under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
  4. Replace power window master switch. After repair, perform POWER WINDOW SYSTEM CHECK  under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
