Manual Bleeding
- Clean master cylinder cap and surrounding area, then remove cap. Fill master cylinder, and install cap. Apply brakes several times to release vacuum reserve.
- Ensure master cylinder is full after each bleed procedure. Install clear vinyl hose onto first wheel bleed screw to be serviced. See BRAKE LINE BLEEDING SEQUENCE table. Place other end of hose in clean, transparent container. Partially fill container with clean brake fluid so end of hose is submerged in fluid. Open bleed screw and slowly depress brake pedal, and hold.
- Close bleed screw, and release pedal. Wait 5 seconds. Repeat procedure, until flow of brake fluid is clear and bubble free. Proceed to next bleed screw. See BRAKE LINE BLEEDING SEQUENCE table. Add brake fluid to master cylinder after bleeding all wheels.
