Circuit Description
MAF sensor measures amount of air which passes through it in a given amount of time. PCM uses this information to control fuel delivery. When the volume of air increases, current flow from MAF sensor also increases. When the volume of air decreases, current flow from MAF sensor also decreases. MAF sensor is located in left front of engine compartment, between air intake tube and air cleaner.
DTC will set when engine speed is greater than 2000 RPM, TP sensor is less than 20 degrees and maximum airflow rate less than 0.1 gram/second and condition present for at least 20 seconds.
