Test 2: Left Front Window Inoperative

  1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using a test light connected to ground, backprobe master switch connector terminal No. 11 with master switch in UP position, and master switch connector terminal No. 10 with master switch in DOWN position. See Figure . If test light is on in both tests, go to next step. If test light is off in either test, replace master switch. See POWER WINDOW SWITCHES  .
  2. Test for open in Yellow or Green/Yellow wire, and Red or Red/Blue wire between master switch connector and window motor connector. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If problem was found, repair as necessary, and then retest. If problem was not found, replace window regulator assembly. See WINDOW REGULATOR & MOTOR  .
