Circuit Description

Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) illuminates when ignition is on and engine is off. Ignition voltage is supplied to MIL. PCM will turn MIL on by grounding the light control circuit. After engine starts, MIL will turn off if no malfunction is detected. If a malfunction is detected, MIL will remain on until system is repaired.
